Information we collect

• Identity and contact details such as name, email address, phone number and account information.
• Order and fulfilment details such as delivery address, pincode, products, variants, quantities, invoices, shipment status and support history.
• Payment references, payment status and refund information received from the payment provider. We do not receive or store complete card numbers, card CVV or payment OTPs.
• Donation and receipt details supplied at an authorised counter, including PAN where required for the transaction or applicable threshold.
• Technical and security information such as IP address, device/browser details, request logs, session activity and fraud signals produced when the service is used.
• Messages, enquiries, reviews or other information a person chooses to send to us.

How we use information

• Create and administer accounts, carts, orders, receipts, deliveries, returns, refunds and customer support.
• Verify stock, prevent duplicate or fraudulent activity, secure staff access and maintain operational audit records.
• Send transactional emails and service messages. Promotional email is sent only where a person subscribes or otherwise permits it, and may be stopped using the method in the message.
• Maintain accounting, tax, donation, inventory and legal records and respond to lawful requests from authorities.
• Diagnose faults, measure service reliability and improve product listings and checkout experience.

Service providers and disclosures

We share only the information reasonably needed for a service. Providers may include Railway for application hosting, database and media storage; Razorpay and banking partners for payments and refunds; shipping platforms and carriers for delivery; Resend for email; and authorised operational records such as Google Sheets where configured for donation reporting.

Information may also be disclosed to professional advisers, auditors, fraud-prevention providers, regulators, courts or law-enforcement authorities when reasonably necessary or legally required. We do not rent or sell personal data for third-party advertising.

Cookies and local device storage

The site uses essential session cookies for secure staff sign-in and browser storage to preserve the shopping cart. Authorised counter devices may also store terminal preferences and queued offline donation records until synchronisation. Blocking essential storage may prevent those functions from working.

If non-essential analytics or advertising technologies are introduced later, this policy and any required consent controls will be updated before they are used.

Retention and security

We retain information only for as long as needed for the purpose collected, including order fulfilment, support, security, accounting, tax, donation and other legal recordkeeping requirements. Retention periods vary by record type. Data may be retained longer when a dispute, investigation, legal hold or unpaid obligation requires it.

We use access controls, secure connections, restricted staff permissions, audit records and reputable infrastructure providers. No internet or storage system is completely secure, so absolute security cannot be guaranteed. Customers should protect their passwords, devices and OTPs and notify us of suspected misuse.

Your choices and requests

Send a request from the email connected with the relevant order or account to seva@bageshwararpan.com. We may verify identity before acting and may retain or decline part of a request where permitted or required by law.

• Request access to or correction of personal data associated with you.
• Request deletion where retention is no longer required and no legal or operational exception applies.
• Withdraw an optional consent or unsubscribe from promotional messages without affecting necessary order communications.
• Raise a grievance about how information has been handled.

Children, external services and changes

The online store is not directed to children who cannot lawfully enter a purchase. A parent or guardian should place and supervise an order for a minor. External services such as Google Maps, payment pages or carrier tracking have their own privacy practices.

We may update this policy when services, providers or legal requirements change. The revised effective date will be shown on this page, and material changes will be communicated where required.
