Our purpose

Every daughter deserves a wedding with honour.

Kanya Vivah at Bageshwar Dham supports the weddings of daughters from economically weaker families. With the blessings of society and devotees, every bride begins her married life with respect and celebration.

Families are selected through a careful, structured process that verifies economic need — so that help reaches exactly those who need it most.

Each bride receives the essentials for her new household — furniture, appliances, and in recent years even two-wheelers — given not as charity, but as the affection of a family.

In 2025, the Hon'ble President of India graced the Kanya Vivah ceremony at Bageshwar Dham and blessed the newly married daughters.

From 17 weddings to a movement of compassion.

What began in 2019 with 17 marriages in the temple courtyard has grown every single year.

2025 251 marriages

On 26 February 2025, a grand ceremony solemnised the weddings of 251 daughters — 108 from tribal communities and 143 from other underprivileged families.

A structured verification process ensured support reached families in genuine need.
